Edition 2025 — Ginestredda Festival

The fourth edition of the Ginestredda Festival took place on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Piazza Risorgimento, Villasmundo. Two evenings dedicated to the famous stuffed crescent pastry, featuring food stalls, local products, and a major new addition: the 'La Terrazza' dish, a tribute to the local area. The event also featured a rich program of music and cabaret. Admission was free for both evenings.

The fourth edition

The 4th Ginestredda Festival was held on September 20 and 21, 2025, in the heart of Villasmundo, in Piazza Risorgimento, marking the start of the festival season for the Terrazza degli Iblei. Alongside the traditional ginestredda, the 2025 edition introduced a new gastronomic highlight, "La Terrazza", an original creation dedicated to the Villasmundo area.

The two evenings, with free admission, featured a mix of tastings, music, and cabaret, along with an open forum for citizens to discuss the promotion of local traditions and culture.

  • "Musical tribute to Renzo Arbore" with the Orchestra Luna Rossa

Throughout the evenings: food stalls serving ginestredda with various fillings, the new "La Terrazza" dish, and local products.

The concert by singer-songwriter Luca Madonia, the cabaret performance by Gianluca Barbagallo, the tribute to Renzo Arbore by the Orchestra Luna Rossa, and the debut of the new "La Terrazza" dish.

Prices

Free admission for both evenings. Tastings at the food stalls were available for purchase.
