Edition 2025 — Ginestrail

The inaugural edition of Ginestrail took place in June 2025 on the hills of Vernasca, in the Piacenza area. The first edition featured a walk among the blooming broom along the trails of Val d'Arda, laying the groundwork for an event that, from its debut, combined hiking, nature, and socializing, with live music and refreshments along the route, setting the stage for the success confirmed in the 2026 edition.

Ginestrail debuted in June 2025 in Vernasca, Province of Piacenza, as a new offering from the Arda Trek association dedicated to promoting the trails of Val d'Arda. The first edition brought hikers and families through the blooming broom woods of the Piacenza hills, within the Stirone and Piacenziano Regional Park.

The formula, already established from the outset, combined a nature walk with refreshment points and live music, in a day of celebration open to all. The positive reception of the inaugural edition led to the event's continuation in 2026.
