Giglietto and Monti Prenestini Delicacies Festival

The 2025 edition

The festival returned to Palestrina from July 31 to August 3, 2025 for its 27th edition, confirming itself as one of the most attended summer events in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital. The historic center transformed into a tasting trail dedicated to the Giglietto and local specialties: gnocchi and fresh pasta, legume soups, cured meats, and cheeses, accompanied by local wines.

Alongside the food stands, the program offered live music, exhibitions, street performances, and creative workshops, with the participation of local artisans. The event concluded on Sunday, August 3, with the Feast of the Madonna della Porta, a devotional appointment deeply felt by the Prenestina community.
