Edition 2025 — Gibellina Photoroad

The fifth edition of Gibellina Photoroad took place from June 20 to August 20, 2025, with the opening on June 20-22. The curatorial theme, signed by artistic director Arianna Catania, was "Timeless," a journey of fifteen site-specific photographic projects set up among the squares and architecture of Gibellina, in the province of Trapani.

2025 Edition — "Timeless"

The fifth edition of the festival was held in Gibellina from June 20 to August 20, 2025, with inaugural days from June 20 to 22. The theme chosen by artistic director Arianna Catania was "Senza Tempo" (Timeless): time understood as a force field around which to articulate fifteen exhibition projects, all conceived as strictly site-specific.

Among the protagonists were internationally renowned photographers such as Alex Majoli (Magnum agency), with the project "Ozio" on the landscapes of north-western Sicily, and Paolo Ventura, with "Una città quasi infinita" in Piazza del Municipio, alongside Feng Li, Mandy Barker, and numerous emerging talents. The exhibitions animated the MAC, the Fondazione Orestiadi, the Mother Church, the Consagra Theatre, and the System of Squares, anticipating the major event of Gibellina Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2026.
