Edition 2025 — Gibellina Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Gibellina Carnival took place from February 27 to March 8, featuring a rich program of parades, dances, and entertainment. The festival was inaugurated by the Mask Parade, which featured children and students from local schools, accompanied by teachers, parents, and the Gibellina Volleyball Association, in the presence of Mayor Salvatore Sutera.

The 2025 Carnival Program

The 2025 edition opened the festivities on Thursday, February 27 with the Mask Parade: in the morning, preschool and primary school children paraded through the city streets to Piazza XV Gennaio, preceded by an allegorical float depicting the Stella of Consagra, the city's symbol; in the afternoon, from 2:30 PM, it was the turn of the middle school students, concluding in Piazza Municipio with sausage stalls and DJ sets.

The following days featured the Grand Carnival Ball, the Children's Carnival with games and entertainment, the Carnival Apericena with local food and wine tastings, the Masked Party, and the final Grand Gala on March 8, with ballroom music, group dances, and DJ sets, mostly held at the San Francesco School gymnasium.
