Gibellina 2026 – Bring Me the Future (Italian Capital of Contemporary Art)

2025 was for Gibellina (province of Trapani) the year of preparation for the title of first Italian Capital of Contemporary Art, won on October 31, 2024. The 44th edition of the Orestiadi Festival, a historic event of the Orestiadi Foundation, took place from June 27 to August 3, 2025, with the theme «Listening to the past, looking to the future».

The festival featured an itinerant preview throughout the city on June 27 and 28, followed by the main program between Baglio Di Stefano and Burri's Grande Cretto, with theatre, music, and visual arts. On December 17, 2025, the «Bring Me the Future» program for 2026 was officially presented, completing a year of collective construction towards the Capital.
