Giant Spit of Pieve di Soligo

The 2025 edition of the Giant Spit of Pieve di Soligo, the sixty-eighth, was held from September 26 to October 12 in Piazza Caduti nei Lager. Over three weekends, the nearly 200 Pro Loco volunteers prepared the spit roast according to the great Treviso tradition, with an evening food stall from 7:00 PM and lunches on festive days. This festival annually reaffirms Pieve di Soligo's status as 'Spit City' since 1956, attracting gourmets from all over the Veneto. It was in 2025 that the announcement was made of the 'Quality Festival' UNPLI recognition, valid from the 2026 edition.
