Giana Anguissola Literary Evenings

The XVI edition of the Giana Anguissola Literary Evenings was held from June 28 to August 30, 2025, in Travo, in the province of Piacenza, with 16 free events, usually at 9:15 PM, on the stage of the Piazzetta dell'Asilo at the foot of the castle tower.

The opening, on June 28, was dedicated to the painter Sofonisba Anguissola on the 400th anniversary of her death, with a dialogue between art and literature. Among the most anticipated guests were Enrico Letta with the book Molto più di un mercato and Nadia Terranova, competing for the Strega Prize 2025 with Quello che so di te. The program included musical evenings, a theatrical tribute to Peter Sellers, and a finale dedicated to children and families, before the awards ceremony for the XVI Literary Competition on Saturday, August 30.
