Edition 2025 — Giambellino Festival

Milan's Giambellino-Lorenteggio district has a long tradition of community festivals promoted by the Neighborhood Workshop, in the participatory and solidarity spirit that animates the Giambellino Festival, blending gastronomy, music, culture, and social engagement.

Giambellino-Lorenteggio, a working-class district in southwest Milan, has for years been enlivened by community initiatives promoted by the Neighborhood Workshop, active in strengthening social cohesion and resident participation. The Giambellino Festival gathers and systematizes these energies, blending an agri-food market, community lunch, music, folk dances, theater, street circus, and cultural events. A festival that arises from the grassroots and tells the story of the solidarity of a part of the city often perceived as marginalized, but rich in relationships and vitality.
