Ghemme Carnival - Chèrnuvée dè Ghèm (King Barlan)

The 2025 edition of the Ghemme Carnival brought back the most beloved moments of the Chèrnuvée dè Ghèm tradition. King Barlan and Madama Pèngin brought the town to life with visits to schools, the official arrival of the sovereign, and the famous satirical speech in the Ghemme dialect delivered in Piazza Castello, dedicated to the events and personalities of the year.

As per tradition, the festival concluded with the bean feast, the Fesulaa prepared by the Maestri Ranceri, a moment of conviviality for the whole community. Entertainment and initiatives for children completed the program, confirming the Ghemme Carnival as one of the most cherished events in the Novara area.
