Gesù Salvatore alla Torre Celebrations

The 2025 edition of the Gesù Salvatore alla Torre Celebrations followed the usual ten-day calendar, from June 23rd to July 2nd, between the Gesù Salvatore alla Torre Church and the Istituto Artigianelli in Cefalù. Daily masses, recitation of the Rosary and the Chaplet, a novena, and community gatherings in the internal courtyard marked the preparation for the feast.

On July 2nd, in memory of the 1837 vow for deliverance from cholera, the community gathered for the solemn final procession with the statue of the Savior, accompanied by brass bands and the traditional cry "Evviva Gesù Sabbaturi". A celebration that confirmed the vitality of an identity-defining tradition of the Municipality of Cefalù.
