Geothermal Hills Festival in Montieri

2025 Edition

The fourteenth edition of the Geothermal Hills Festival was held from June 19th to August 9th, 2025, with a preview on June 15th at the Teatro dei Coraggiosi in Pomarance. Montieri, in the Province of Grosseto, was also one of the five municipalities starring in the festival, along with Pomarance, Castelnuovo Val di Cecina, Monteverdi Marittimo, and Monterotondo Marittimo.

Among the most anticipated events were the national previews of the Teatro Metastasio of Prato (Lorenzo Maragoni in "Tipico maschio italiano" on June 28th and Andrea Cosentino in "Trash Test" on July 25th), the Italian debut of the British deaf comedian John Smith (July 31st in Pomarance, accessible to all thanks to LIS translation and smart glasses), and, from July 11th to 13th, the events of the Renato Fucini Prize dedicated to the writer.
