Edition 2025 — Bread Run

The 12th Genzano Bread Run took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Genzano di Roma, on a 9.5km course starting at 9:00 AM. About 220 runners took to the cobblestones of the historic center, on a day included in the calendar of the 37th PGI Pane Casareccio Festival and the celebrations for Saint Thomas of Villanova.

Genzano Bread Run 2025 — 12th edition

The 2025 edition confirmed the proven formula: a short but technical race, 9.5 kilometers through the streets of Genzano di Roma, passing in front of Palazzo Sforza Cesarini and along the famous via dell'Infiorata. About 220 athletes started, many from Lazio running clubs involved in the Corsa Libera circuit.

Among the men, victory went to Raffaele Mastrolorenzo (ASD Atletica La Sbarra) in 34'50", ahead of Pasquale Roberto Rutigliano (Atletica Pro Canosa) and Damiano Marocchini (Gruppo Millepiedi). In the women's field, Stefania Gabrielli (Piano Ma Arriviamo) prevailed in 43'50", followed by Chiara Collatina (Podistica Solidarietà) and Pamela Cavino.

As per tradition, the day concluded with refreshments based on PGI Pane Casareccio di Genzano and local products, in a town already immersed in the atmosphere of the patronal feast.
