Gente di Mare Award

The thirty-eighth edition of the Gente di Mare Award took place on December 5, 2025, on the feast day of the patron saint San Basso, for the second consecutive year in the new Auditorium in Via Elba, before a large audience of citizens. The evening, hosted by Antonio Lanzone and Stefano Leone, presented awards to numerous entities from Termoli. Among the recipients were Nicola Palladino, for his work in defending and promoting maritime culture and popular traditions; the Italian Chefs Association; the Filarmonica Ragni; the military personnel of the Guardia di Finanza Naval Station, for the rescues in the Tremiti Islands in the summer of 2025; and Maria Staffieri, the heart of Bar Giorgione, for 55 years of service to the community.
