Genius Loci – Discovering Santa Croce

The eighth edition of Genius Loci – Discovering Santa Croce was held in Florence from September 24 to 28, 2025, choosing the theme of Peace as its guiding thread, in resonance with the Franciscan soul of the place and the present time.

Five days of concerts, talks, and performances enlivened the Cenacolo, the Second Cloister, and the Pazzi Chapel. Among the protagonists were artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, jazz musicians Enrico Rava and Fred Hersch, writer Carlo Lucarelli, philosopher Aldo Schiavone, singer-songwriter Emma Nolde, Gianni Maroccolo, and many others. The festival concluded with the usual sunrise concert, Saturday, September 27 at 6:00 AM in the Second Cloister, entrusted to Frida Bollani Magoni with "Semplicemente Frida". Admission was free with mandatory reservation.
