Genius Loci - Afternoons in the Monferrato Villages

The 2025 edition of the Genius Loci - Afternoons in the Monferrato Villages festival, promoted by the Ecomuseo della Pietra da Cantoni Foundation of Cella Monte, enlivened the winter Sunday afternoons of the Casale Monferrato area. The cycle began on Sunday, January 12th in San Maurizio di Conzano, with a visit to the former Franciscan convent, the funeral monument of Carlo Vidua, and the "Bruna Basso" library.

The festival then continued with stops in Cuccaro (February 9th), Olivola (March 2nd), and Terruggia (March 9th), the final winter stop. Each afternoon, led by the guide Anna Maria Bruno, concluded with a convivial moment, such as the traditional tasting of hot tea and luciotti, the typical biscuits from Conzano. Admission was free for all stops.
