Edition 2025 — Gavello Melon Festival

The 2025 edition of the Gavello Melon Festival took place from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, in the hamlet of Gavello in Bondeno (Ferrara). Three days of food stalls with typical dishes of the Ferrara lowlands, live music, and the feast of the patron saint Saint Anthony of Padua, to celebrate the local melon at the height of its season.

In 2025, the Gavello Melon Festival was held from June 6 to 8 in the hamlet of Gavello, in Bondeno (province of Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna). Food stalls, open every evening from 7:00 PM and on Sunday also at lunch, offered traditional specialties: cappellacci, gramigna alla boscaiola, mixed grill, prosciutto and melon, fries, pinzìn, and house dessert. The event, accompanied by live music and the patronal feast of Saint Anthony of Padua, confirmed the community's strong bond with its most characteristic product, the Gavello melon.
