From Muggiò to the Barolo Langhe

The Gastronomic Trip to Barolo is one of the day trips offered by the Pro Loco of Muggiò, an association active in promoting the local area in the Municipality of Muggiò, Province of Monza and Brianza. The trip takes participants to the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the cradle of some of Italy's most famous wines.

Winery, museum, and wine culture

The programme includes a guided tour of the Vite Colte winery and the WiMu — Wine Museum, housed within the picturesque Falletti Castle of Barolo. The museum, designed by set designer François Confino, uniquely tells the story of the relationship between wine and humanity, history, and art, spread across the floors of the manor that overlooks the village. The experience thus combines the region's gastronomic dimension with cultural discovery, in a day designed for those who love fine wine and the landscapes of the Piedmontese hills.

The trip takes place on Mother's Day, an occasion that underscores its convivial and family-friendly nature. Like other trips organised by the Pro Loco of Muggiò, the initiative requires advance registration with the association, with limited places depending on coach transport availability.
