Gargano Podolica Meat and Caciocavallo Festival

The 2025 edition of the Gargano Podolica Meat and Caciocavallo Festival took place on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Piazza del Popolo in Carpino, starting at 8:00 PM. As is tradition, the festival opened the rich calendar of the Carpino summer.

At the center of the evening was Podolica meat grilled to perfection and Podolica caciocavallo, along with other typical Gargano products and wines from Cantina Basile. Musical accompaniment was provided by Figli di Puglia, with live folk music that kept the square dancing and singing.

The event, promoted by the Municipality of Carpino and the Pro Loco of Carpino, preceded other major August events, from the Carpino in Folk Festival (August 6-10) to the Fava Bean and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Festival (August 12), and the celebrations of San Rocco.
