Gargano October Fair

The 183rd edition of the Gargano October Fair was held in San Nicandro Garganico from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2025, confirming the event's commitment to promoting local crafts, agri-food, and traditions.

The inauguration, on Friday at 6:00 PM with the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the presence of the Mayor and authorities, was followed by a debate on "KM 0: local products as a resource for regional development" and gastronomic demonstrations. On Saturday, the Centro Fiera stands opened at 9:30 AM, featuring an educational workshop on popular gastronomy, the "Animals in the Courtyard" space, and, in the evening, a gastronomic-cultural show on the Mediterranean diet with music and show cooking. On Sunday, the day began at dawn with horse trekking in the woods, followed by the presentation and award ceremony for the "PGI Dried Flowers of San Nicandro Garganico" and concluded with a concert by the band "I Miargento".

Despite the bad weather, the 2025 edition saw a large turnout, reaffirming the fair's role as a landmark event for the Gargano.
