Garbatella Culture Festival

2025 Edition: the "out of the ordinary" festival

On June 14th, 2025, the 32nd Culture Festival enlivened Parco Garbatella from 5:00 PM until evening. The edition was marked by the lack of public funding: the Controchiave Cultural Association chose not to cancel the event but to reinvent it in an unplugged format, forgoing large stages and amplification systems.

The result was a more intimate day, closer to the spirit of its origins, built around live acoustic music, readings, theatre, and the participation of residents. The chosen slogan, "A festival out of the ordinary" (fuori dal Comune), played explicitly on the lack of institutional support.

The event was held in collaboration with Legambiente Garbatella, Radio Città Aperta, and Officine Urbane Garbatella, with the patronage of the Municipio VIII of Rome. Admission was free.
