Galliate Carnival

The 53rd edition of the historic Galliate Carnival, in the province of Novara, renewed an event with roots dating back to 1971. Organized by the Pro Loco Galliate together with the Carnival Committee, the festival featured parades of allegorical floats and masks along the streets of the center, with the traditional local masks Manghin and Manghina starring in the key ceremony and the satirical speech. There was no shortage of events for families, entertainment with street performers, and moments of conviviality in the square, with traditional sweets and carnival specialties, testifying to a popular tradition deeply rooted in the West Ticino territory.
