Galatone Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Galatone Carnival was a special event dedicated to the memory of Andrea Papa — after whom the Committee is now named — and Giuseppe Lega, who was remembered with a special prize dedicated to the passion for light and color. The grand allegorical float parade took place on Monday, March 3, 2025, starting from Piazza Padre Pio and concluding in Piazza San Sebastiano before the jury. The program closed on Saturday, March 8, 2025, with the traditional Serata della Pentolaccia. Prizes were awarded for the most original costumes, the most engaging choreography, and the most spectacular floats, in addition to the special prize in memory of Giuseppe Lega for the best combination of music, light, and color.
