Great dance in Busto Arsizio

The Galà Internazionale di Danza is a high-profile evening that brings some of the best dancers on the international scene to the Teatro Sociale Delia Cajelli in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. Conceived and directed by dancer and teacher Marco Palamone from Busto Arsizio — who trained at the English National Ballet School — the event was created to offer the city a world-class dance performance.

Étoiles from all over the world

Soloists and couples from the most prestigious international companies alternate on stage: from the Royal Ballet of London to the Teatro alla Scala of Milan, from the Teatro Massimo of Palermo to the Staatsballett of Berlin, up to the English National Ballet and the Royal Danish Ballet. The program features about twenty pieces of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary dance — solos, pas de deux, and choreographies by renowned artists.

Excellence and social commitment

The gala is not just a show: each edition addresses a social theme. From the real lives of professional dancers — being away from home, financial difficulties, personal challenges — to raising awareness about eating disorders, with the support of dedicated associations. A dimension that adds depth to an evening already rich in beauty.

Space for young talent

Alongside the international étoiles, the gala also makes space for local talents: selected local dance schools, students from the Pina Bausch dance high school, and the awarding of masterclasses and scholarships. A way to connect world-class excellence with the growth of young dancers in Busto Arsizio and the Alto Milanese region.
