Gagliano Castelferrato Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Gagliano Castelferrato Carnival renewed the tradition that has animated this town in the province of Enna for years. As is customary, the festival began about ten days before Shrove Tuesday, with the first parade of masked groups traveling through the town streets to Piazza Matteotti. Fat Thursday brought entertainment and games to the square, with the tasting of the essential chiacchiere, while Sunday featured the allegorical floats created with passion by the people of Gagliano. The event closed on Shrove Tuesday with the awards ceremony for the most beautiful costumes, for both adults and children, and the most original allegorical float.
