Edition 2025 — Fungo Ferla Fest

The 2025 edition of the Fungo Ferla Fest took place on November 22 and 23 in the historic center of Caltavuturo. Two days dedicated to the Ferla mushroom, the star of the Madonie, featuring tastings of mushroom-based dishes prepared by local chefs and producers, bike and off-road excursions to hunt for mushrooms, guided tours of monuments, folk music, and street performances, all amidst the flavors and scents of autumn.

The Fungo Ferla Fest 2025 was held on November 22 and 23 in the historic center of Caltavuturo, in the Madonie mountains near Palermo. For two days, the village came alive around the Ferla mushroom, with tasting stalls and dishes featuring mushrooms and wild greens offered by local producers and restaurants.

The program combined taste, nature, and culture: excursions by mountain bike and off-road vehicle to hunt for mushrooms, walks in the woods, guided tours of the town's monuments, folk music, street bands, and street artist performances. A weekend that confirmed the festival as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Palermitan hinterland.
