Edition 2025 — Funghi in Piazza

In 2025, Funghi in Piazza celebrated its 30th edition in Calizzano on Sunday, October 12th. Amidst stands of local products, an artisan market, a mycological exhibition, and forest excursions, the mushroom festival attracted numerous enthusiasts, confirming the link between the village in the upper Bormida Valley and its woodland heritage.

The 2025 edition of Funghi in Piazza, the 30th, was held on Sunday, October 12th, in Calizzano. The village in the upper Bormida Valley hosted stands of local products, the artisan market, and the mycological exhibition curated by the group 'Il Cerchio delle Streghe', featuring the numerous mushroom species of the area. Excursions in the Bosco delle Streghe led visitors to discover the woodland environment. The festival, organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco, confirmed Calizzano's mycological vocation, in the province of Savona.
