Froscia and 'Ncannellata Festival

2025 Edition (1st edition)

The first edition of the Froscia and 'Ncannellata Festival was held in Alessandria della Rocca from May 9 to 11, 2025, with the subtitle "a journey through sweet and savory." The event, promoted by the municipal administration led by Mayor Salvatore Mangione, was created to enhance the gastronomic and cultural excellence of the Sicani Mountains area.

The initiative, also included in the "Borghi dei Tesori Fest" circuit, met with extraordinary success, exceeding the organizers' expectations. Along Via Roma, for three days, there were food stalls featuring froscia and 'ncannellata, performances by folk groups, show cooking, concerts, afternoon musical entertainment, and a Vespa rally, in a festive atmosphere that involved the entire community.
