From Nazareth to Bethlehem Living Nativity

2025 Edition - The Fifteenth

The fifteenth edition of the "From Nazareth to Bethlehem" living nativity took place in Gangi, in the Province of Palermo, from December 26 to 29, 2025. Performances were repeated every half hour from 5:00 PM until midnight along the route through the historic center's alleys, from the Santa Lucia district to the Nativity grotto near the Ventimiglia Tower.

The edition recorded a record of over 7,000 visitors, as noted by Mayor Giuseppe Ferrarello. Among the guests was the Archbishop of Monreale, Gualtiero Isacchi. Directors Carmelo Domina and Peppuccio Ballistreri introduced a contemporary message of peace, featuring a scene of a soldier laying down his helmet before a war orphan, bridging the ancient story with modern reality.
