Edition 2025 — Frog Palio

The 59th Historical Tournament Palio della Rana was held in Fermignano from April 25 to 27, 2025. The district of La Torre triumphed, marking its third consecutive victory, and also won the archery challenge and "Il Piatto del Palio". Three days of Renaissance reenactment, tournaments, district taverns, and the usual frog wheelbarrow race animated the town's historic center.

The 2025 edition, the 59th, took place in Fermignano (PU) from April 25 to 27, 2025, and saw the dominance of the district of La Torre, winner of the Palio for the third consecutive year, with champion Matteo Di Lorenzi lifting the banner for the second time in a row.

La Torre swept up the awards: in addition to the Palio, it won "Il Piatto del Palio" — one of the 2025 novelties — with its passatelli with broad bean and fennel sauce and Urbino cheese fondue, and also won the archery competition. The event confirmed its three-day format with a historical parade, games, district taverns, and the concluding fireworks display.
