Edition 2025 — Agosta Frog Festival

The 2025 edition of the Frog and Regina Bean Festival took place on Friday, August 8th, and Saturday, August 9th, in Agosta, Piazza San Nicola, with stalls opening at 7:00 PM. Two evenings of taste and tradition hosted by the Pro Loco, featuring golden fried frogs, Regina beans, peasant cuisine dishes, and live music in the medieval historic center of the Aniene Valley.

In 2025, the Frog and Regina Bean Festival brought Agosta to life on August 8th and 9th, attracting visitors from all over the Aniene Valley to Piazza San Nicola. The stalls opened at 7:00 PM with fried frog, golden and crispy, prepared according to the recipe passed down for generations, along with Regina beans with pork rinds, fettuccine, strozzapreti with tomato sauce, and roast meats.

After dinner, the event continued with live music and entertainment, in a festive atmosphere in the heart of the historic center. The Agosta Pro Loco thus renewed the tradition of the 'ranocchiari', enhancing the gastronomic excellence of the territory.
