Frittata Festival of Montaquila

The 2025 edition of the Frittata Festival renewed the appointment in Montaquila with the Maxi Frittata Regina, prepared in Piazza Dante Alighieri with 1987 eggs, a new milestone after the 1985 of the previous year. The giant frittata paraded through the village streets with locals in costume and music groups, while the village came alive with food stands, tastings of typical Molise dishes, folk groups, children's workshops, and vintage car and Vespa rallies. A festival that each year celebrates the ancient Easter custom of the shared frittata.

The 2025 edition followed the usual two-day format: preparation and tasting of the Maxi Frittata Regina (1987 eggs) in Piazza Dante Alighieri, parade with participants in costume and music groups, food stands, folk groups, children's workshops, and vintage car and Vespa rallies.
