Friseddhra Festival

The 37th edition of the Friseddhra Festival brought Specchia Gallone, a village in Minervino di Lecce, to life with a two-day event on Sunday, July 27, and Monday, July 28, 2025. In Largo Sant'Anna, the Sant'Anna Cultural Association prepared Salento friselle on the spot, topped with genuine local ingredients and distributed for free, along with pittule, chips, sandwiches, and drinks.

The two evenings were accompanied by live music, with performances by the groups Mustici and MondoRadio Tutti i Frutti, who brought the repertoire of folk tradition and dance music to the square. As per custom, visitors were also able to admire the Chapel of Sant'Anna, a testament to medieval sacred art in the village.
