Fried Zucchini Flower Festival in La Serra

In 2025, the Fried Zucchini Flower Festival reached its 14th edition, hosted as usual in the pavilion of the Circolo ARCI La Serra, a hillside hamlet of San Miniato (PI). The festival was spread over two weekends, May 31, June 1 and 2, and then June 7 and 8, 2025, with dinner evenings (from 8:00 PM on June 1 and 7) and lunch days (June 2 and 8).

The stars were fried zucchini flowers, accompanied by other traditional San Miniato peasant specialties, including fried foods and meat main courses like pork chops. A community festival, simple and genuine, enlivened by the club's volunteers and very popular with families from the Pisan hills area.
