Edition 2025 — Fried Rabbit Festival

In the summer of 2025, Parco I Pini in Marina di Cecina did not yet host the Fried Rabbit Festival, which makes its debut as a first edition in 2026. However, the star dish, fried rabbit, was already a classic of Tuscan summer tables and gastronomic festivals on the Livorno coast, where peasant cuisine has always been an integral part of village festival offerings.

The Fried Rabbit Festival of Marina di Cecina was born in 2026 as a first edition: therefore, there is no 2025 edition of the event. The fried rabbit, its signature dish, had long been one of the most beloved flavors of summer tables in Tuscany and the numerous gastronomic festivals that enliven Parco I Pini and the coast of Cecina, in the province of Livorno.

Tuscan peasant cuisine, with fried rabbit, grilled meats, and seasonal side dishes, has always been the heart of summer festivals in the area. From this consolidated tradition, the new Fried Rabbit Festival was born in 2026, designed to celebrate a simple and iconic dish in the greenery of the pine forest just a stone's throw from the sea.
