Fried Cheese Festival — Villa Popolo

The 2025 edition of the Fried Cheese Festival took place as tradition dictates in June in the village of Villa Popolo, a mountain hamlet of Torricella Sicura, in the province of Teramo. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Association of Torricella Sicura APS, confirmed the formula perfected over the years: food stalls open in the evening with the famous fried sheep and cow milk cheese, arrosticini, sausages, and typical local products, accompanied by evenings of live music and dancing. An event that attracts numerous visitors every year to this small village in the Teramo Apennines, blending peasant gastronomy and conviviality.
