Edition 2025 — Fraternity Festival

In the summer of 2025, the village of Marruci in Pizzoli (AQ) hosted a new edition of the Fraternity Festival, organized by the Associazione Fraternità ONLUS. With food stalls serving traditional Abruzzese dishes, ballroom dancing to the sound of the accordion, and a charity raffle, the festival reaffirmed its dual nature: local conviviality and fundraising for charity.

2025 Fraternity Festival in Marruci di Pizzoli

The 2025 edition of the Fraternity Festival took place as it does every year in the village of Marruci, in the municipality of Pizzoli (AQ), enlivening the summer evenings of mid-August. The food stalls offered the flavors of Abruzzese and Apennine tradition: homemade pappardelle, penne all'amatriciana, pecora alla cottora, grilled sausages, bruschetta, and fried pizzas.

After dinner, the evenings continued with live music and ballroom dancing, while the charity raffle contributed to the fundraising efforts. As per tradition, the proceeds from the 2025 edition were donated to cancer research, local welfare initiatives, and development projects in the Global South, confirming the charitable vocation of the event organized by the Associazione Fraternità ONLUS.
