Frasassi SkyRace

The Frasassi SkyRace 2025 took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in San Vittore di Genga (AN), in the heart of the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Natural Park. A day of clear skies accompanied about 350 athletes from all over Italy and abroad along the park's technical trails.

In the 21 km SkyRace, the men's victory went to Giacomo Forconi (ASD Space Running) in 1h53'36", ahead of Giorgio Lampa and Riccardo Pianesi; among the women, Francesca Farneti (ASD Space Running) triumphed in 2h34'25". In the 11 km Mini Sky, also valid as the Italian Youth Championship, Cristian Gabriele Pivot set a new course record in 57'02", while Ana Nanu (Atl. Casone Noceto) won among the women.

Over 60 volunteers, supported by the Alpine Rescue, Civil Protection, medical staff, and an alpine guide, ensured safety during the event, which has become a symbol of skyrunning in central Italy.
