Francavilla Drum Festival (European Music Day)

The 2025 edition of the Francavilla Drum Festival took place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, in the center of Francavilla Fontana, on the occasion of European Music Day. The stars of the evening were forty drummers who played simultaneously, creating an impressive percussion concert at the foot of the highest dome in Salento.

The repertoire revisited the melodies of great rock hits, while the evening was hosted by Giovanna Ciracì. The event, which was free and open to all, was organized by the Municipal Administration and the Municipal Music School in collaboration with Drum Music Event and the Semeraro Drum School. The mayor presented it as a preview of the Francavilla summer season.
