Edition 2025 — Fragine Medievale

On August 17, 2025, Fragine Medievale returned to Fraine after several years of suspension, relaunched by the Pro Loco in a renewed and streamlined form. Starting at 6:00 PM, the historical procession set off from Largo Santa Maria with costumed performers and flag-wavers, parading through the village streets to the Mother Church in Piano della Torre for the Vassalage ceremony. The evening continued late into the night with food stalls serving traditional dishes and live music.

Fragine Medievale 2025

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the historical re-enactment Fragine Medievale returned to animate the village of Fraine, in the province of Chieti, after a period of absence due to the village's depopulation. The Pro Loco Fraine, led by president Giacomo Di Pasquale, relaunched the event in a renewed version, without sacrificing its historical value.

At 6:00 PM, the historical procession departed from Largo Santa Maria with costumed performers and flag-wavers, crossing the streets of the center to the Mother Church in Piano della Torre, where the Vassalage ceremony took place. The evening then continued with the opening of food stalls, which offered traditional dishes, and with music and songs by Emilio Stampone, known as "The Voice".
