Edition 2025 — Fat Calf Fair

The 2025 edition of the Fossano Livestock Days took place from April 5 to 9 in Fossano, with the 96th Fat Calf Fair celebrated on Wednesday, April 9, at the Foro Boario. The week brought together the 21st Provincial Exhibition of Piedmontese Breed Cattle, the 54th Friesian Breed Exhibition, and the exhibition of the Pezzata Rossa, confirming Fossano as the Piedmontese capital of livestock farming.

2025 Edition: The 96th Fat Calf Fair

In 2025, the Fossano Livestock Days were held from April 5 to 9, culminating on Wednesday, April 9, in the 96th Fat Calf Fair at the Foro Boario in Fossano. Local breeders presented their best Piedmontese calves, evaluated by a jury of butchers and breeders: 71 animals participated in the fair, an increase compared to previous years.

The event also hosted the 21st Provincial Exhibition of Piedmontese Breed Cattle, the 54th Provincial Exhibition of Friesian Breed Cattle, and the 2nd exhibition of the Italian Simmental breed in Piazza Dompè, confirming the role of Fossano and the province of Cuneo as a reference point for Piedmontese cattle.
