Fossa Festival

The twenty-fifth anniversary edition, from August 22 to 24, 2025, confirmed the festival's identity: popular games as the driving force of the event. Scheduled were the Italian Championship of Sbürla la Rôda—a practice recognized as intangible cultural heritage—and the Sunday Palio di Fossa, as well as the Invido championship on Friday. Every evening, classical music concerts were held in the church at 6 PM, along with street artists and, on Saturday, the Sedicicorti review featuring six animated short films judged by children. On Friday, the book Fossacaprara: le foto raccontano was presented. Traditional dishes like tripe and gnòc a la mulinèra were served. Among the new features was the participation of a Tuscan gaming community from Santa Fiora. The event was organized by the OltreFossa association.
