Edition 2025 — San Giovanni Tortelli Feast

The 40th edition of the Tortellata di San Giovanni was held in Fornio di Fidenza (PR) on Monday, June 23, 2025, starting around 8:00 PM. Long tables, homemade erbette tortelli, wines from the Colli hills, and the traditional wait for Saint John's dew celebrated the arrival of summer, in the spirit of hospitality promoted by the Circolo Folkloristico Sportivo Fornio.

The 2025 edition, the 40th, took place on Monday, June 23, 2025, in the hamlet of Fornio, in Fidenza, province of Parma. The self-service menu included homemade tortelli d'erbetta, mixed cured meats, French fries, a bottle of wine (Gutturnio or Ortrugo), draft beer, water, soft drinks, homemade desserts, and coffee.

Open to all, without reservation or table service, the evening concluded with the usual wait for Saint John's dew, confirming the village's connection to this peasant tradition of Emilia-Romagna.
