In the heart of Tolentino, in the province of Macerata, the Politeama Franco Moschini hosts Dàimon, one of the most evocative events of the FormeFuture cultural program. The performance stems from a precise idea: to tell that magical moment when the designer meets their own dàimon, the guiding spirit that transforms the chaos of inspiration into function and beauty. It's an original and poetic way to talk about design without products or slides, but through the body, music, and words.

The Compagnia degli Istanti and Daniele Di Bonaventura

The protagonist of the evening is the Compagnia degli Istanti, a contemporary dance research group from the Marche region, accompanied by accordionist and composer Daniele Di Bonaventura, one of the most acclaimed musicians on the Italian jazz and singer-songwriter scene. The project, developed with the creative support of Genny Ceresani and Fabio Bacaloni, is divided into two parts: design icons come to life and dialogue with movement, music, and poetry, in a free reinterpretation of Alice in Wonderland and Ovid's Metamorphoses. The result is a visual and sensory journey that intertwines fairy-tale imagery and design culture.

FormeFuture, a journey through design and culture

Dàimon is not an isolated event: it is part of FormeFuture, a multidisciplinary program encompassing design, history, art, and contemporary culture promoted by the Fondazione Design Terrae in collaboration with the Fondazione Franco Moschini, with the contribution of the Marche Region and the patronage of the Municipality of Tolentino. The festival brings designers, performances, and screenings to the Politeama stage, confirming Tolentino as one of the design hubs in the Marche region.

A free evening at the Politeama

The performance takes place at the Politeama Franco Moschini, Corso Garibaldi 80, with free admission subject to availability. The double showing on the same evening allows a wider audience to experience this encounter between dance, music, and design in the historic center of Tolentino.
