Edition 2025 — Foodmetti @ Baladin Open Garden

The second edition of Foodmetti @ Baladin Open Garden was held on June 28-29, 2025, in Piozzo (CN). The Baladin Open Garden hosted a dream team of contemporary comic book artists for two days of signings, talks, live drawing, and tastings, continuing the collaboration between Baladin and Foodmetti – Artisti delle Tavole born at Lucca Comics & Games.

The second edition of Foodmetti @ Baladin Open Garden took place on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Piozzo, in the province of Cuneo.

Guests included: Mirka Andolfo (winner of Eisner and Harvey Awards), Giuseppe Camuncoli (artist for Batman, Spider-Man, and Darth Vader), Carmine Di Giandomenico, Paolo Bacilieri, Sergio Gerasi, and Marco Mastrazzo.

The Sunday program featured the opening of the garden and bookshop at 11:00 AM, book signings, lunch with the authors, talks such as "L'école dessinée," "Drink & Draw in Piedmont," and "A Pint of Comics Year 2," as well as live drawing on Baladin bottles. The two days were animated by the comic and cartoon-themed DJ sets of Alessio "Islaz" Franzoso.
