Fontevivo Celebrates Parmigiano Reggiano – Museum Inauguration

Throughout 2025, the Parmigiano Reggiano Museum welcomed visitors to its historic location in Soragna, under the shadow of the Rocca Meli Lupi, in a charming 19th-century circular dairy with a colonnade. Amidst vintage objects, historical images, and guided tastings, visitors could trace the history and production techniques of the king of cheeses.

On September 15, 2025, the museum closed its doors at the Soragna location to begin the move to the new Fontevivo site, which was later inaugurated in June 2026. The 2025 season thus represented the final chapter in the museum's long history in Soragna, as part of the Food Museums network of the Province of Parma.
