Edition 2025 — Music Festival

As every year, the Music Festival falls on June 21st, the day of the summer solstice: in 2025, the date fell on a Saturday. The national event, promoted by the Ministry of Culture and coordinated in Italy by the AIPFM, brought thousands of free concerts to squares, courtyards, and cultural venues across the peninsula, with a particularly dense presence in the Lazio region and the metropolitan area of Rome, of which Fonte Nuova is a part.

The 2025 Music Festival

On June 21, 2025, a Saturday, the Music Festival was celebrated as per tradition, a European event born in France in 1982 and adopted in Italy under the coordination of the AIPFM with the support of the Ministry of Culture.

The formula is always the same: free concerts, professional and amateur musicians side-by-side, and urban spaces opened to music for an entire day. The Lazio region is historically one of the regions with the highest number of participants, concentrated above all in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, the area where Fonte Nuova is located.
