Edition 2025 — Folklore Festival

In August 2025, the Arena Vitruvio in Piazza Aldo Moro was once again the heart of the Formia summer, with a series of free-admission evenings featuring comedy, theater, and Italian music, all starting at 9:30 PM. The 'Formia Estate 2025' program, promoted by the Municipality of Formia, also featured music, culture, and popular traditions spread across the city center, districts, and archaeological areas.

The Arena Vitruvio in August 2025

The 2025 edition of the summer program of the Municipality of Formia brought a series of open-air evenings to Piazza Aldo Moro between August 8th and 18th, all with free admission and starting at 9:30 PM. The Arena Vitruvio program alternated comedy, theater, and Italian song, with names such as Enzo & Sal, Gene Gnocchi, Dario Vergassola, Corrado Tedeschi, and Marco Morandi.

Alongside the arena, Formia Estate 2025 offered a program spread throughout the city, including music, culture, classical theater, and popular traditions, confirming the formula that the Municipality then expanded in the 2026 edition with the Folklore Festival at the beginning of August.
