Foiano Musical Week

The 25th edition of the Foiano Musical Week was held from June 16th to 22nd, 2025, with free concerts every evening at 9:15 PM in the squares of the historic center of Foiano della Chiana and in Pozzo della Chiana.

The festival opened on Monday the 16th with the Valdichiana Junior Band in Piazza Nencetti, followed on Tuesday the 17th by the Aria Sonora Quartet in Piazza Fra' Benedetto with music by Astor Piazzolla. On Wednesday the 18th, in Piazza Nencetti, the music school students' recital accompanied the debut of the Fabio Maurilli competition. On Thursday the 19th, the Banda Cittadina di Passignano sul Trasimeno, conducted by Maestro Francia, performed in Piazza Fra' Benedetto, while on Friday the 20th, the Filarmonica G. Verdi brought Piazza Padella in Pozzo della Chiana to life. On Saturday the 21st, it was the turn of the Megaband of Maicol and Amos Cucchi in Piazza Matteotti, and the closing concert on Sunday the 22nd in Piazza Fra' Benedetto was performed by the Filarmonica Pietro Mascagni, conducted by Maestro Ragni.
