Foggia Medievale

The 2025 edition of Foggia Medievale took place on Thursday, August 7, 2025, as part of the Foggia Estate program and organized by the Pro Loco. Traffic restrictions in the city center began in the afternoon, while the historical pageant came to life starting at 7:30 PM, winding through the city streets.

Along the route, flag-wavers performed spectacular maneuvers, musicians played ancient melodies, and costumed performers, archers, falconers with birds of prey in flight, and fire-breathers took part; for the first time, two combatants also participated in scenic duels. The public was able to experience the thrill of archery in a specially set-up field guided by experts. The highlight, from 8:30 PM, was held in Piazza Nigri, in front of the evocative Porta Arpana of the Civic Museum, with the final show. Admission was free.
